Refund Policy
Effective date: June 2, 2026
PrivaScan sells digital products — AI-generated privacy policy, cookie policy, and terms-of-service drafts, hosted policy pages, and related tools. Because our products are delivered electronically and generated on demand, this policy explains when refunds are and are not available. Payments are processed by Stripe.
1. One-Time Purchases
A one-time purchase (for example, a single scan and policy generation) lets you generate your documents immediately. Because the documents are produced and made available to you instantly, a one-time purchase is generally non-refundable once generation has started.
We will, however, provide a full refund within 14 days of purchase if:
- a technical fault on our side prevented your documents from being generated or delivered, and we were unable to resolve it; or
- you were charged in error, or charged more than once for the same purchase.
Refunds for any other reason may be granted at our discretion as a goodwill gesture.
2. Digital Delivery & Right of Withdrawal
By purchasing and starting generation, you request immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law, you lose any statutory "cooling-off" or right of withdrawal once delivery has begun. This does not affect the fault-based and discretionary refunds described above, or any non-waivable consumer rights in your jurisdiction.
3. How to Request a Refund
Email support@privascan.net within 14 days of your purchase, including your order or receipt ID and the email address used at checkout. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days.
4. Chargebacks
If you have a billing concern, please contact us first — we aim to resolve issues quickly. Initiating a chargeback without contacting us may result in suspension of your account pending review.
